Windows Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Windows Servers running Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, DNS, IIS and BES in a domain environment
• Must have in-depth and strong working knowledge of networking concepts, Exchange, MS SQL, MS Clustering, Windows IIS, web technologies and system security
• Must have performed migrations from Windows NT/2000 to Windows 2003 domains. Must have performed migrations from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007
• VMware/SAN administration and implementation a plus
• Support network devices – Barracuda, SonicWall, WatchGuard, Cisco PIX, Switches and Routers
• The individual will handle and resolve end user issues via telephone and onsite support
• Responsibilities include, break/fix, solving desktop problems, new buildouts and escalation of level 2 calls
• Candidates must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to extract information from end user to resolve computer related hardware/software issues
• Interact with clients and service providers to ensure timely correction of network issues

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with emphasis on customer satisfaction
• Ability to interface with external clients both on-site and via telephone. Must be customer service oriented!!
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of communicating clearly and concisely technical concepts to end users.
• Experience working with a ticketing system, tracking work done in hours and completing work according to set schedules
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 4 year College degree, preferably a B.S in a technical science or equivalent experience
• MCP, MCSA, or MCSE REQUIRED
• 3-5 years experience in administering an enterprise environment
