Q. Where is IT By Design located?

A. ITBD is based in Manhattan with a branch office in New Jersey, a global Network Operations Center, and Data Centers in Long Island and Phoenix, Arizona.

A. Since 1998..

Q. How many employees does IT By Design have?

A. IT By Design is continually growing to meet the demands of our esteemed clients. Right now, we have approximately 60 full time engineers across our locations. We intend to expand our staff in the coming quarters and open additional locations.

Q. What size businesses do you typically work with?

A. IT By Design works with businesses of all sizes and our client base is rapidly expanding. From small 10 person firms to large multi-national companies with thousands of employees, ITBD has the resources and expertise to serve your IT needs. No business is too small, or too large, for us to support.

A. Over the years, ITBD has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of businesses, including hospitality, non-profit, education, marketing/PR, manufacturing, staffing, financial services and healthcare.

Q. Do you provide procurement services?

A. Yes, ITBD can procure hardware and software for our clients, often passing on substantial discounts.

Q. Do you provide onsite support or just remote support?

A. Most issues these days can be resolved remotely, thus saving time and costs. However, an onsite resource is occasionally required. ITBD provides onsite support for the Tri-state area by our New York and New Jersey engineers, and internationally by our partner locations.

Q. Are you really available 24×7?

A. Yes, our Network Operations Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our clients can call our Live Help Desk at any time, day or night, and reach a full-time, certified ITBD engineer.

Q. How do your engineers access my network remotely?

A. ITBD uses our Virtual Tech Desk (VTD) agent-based software to enable monitoring, maintenance and remote administration. With your permission, we can remotely log-in to your machine to resolve your issue. This technology allows us to provide high quality service while keeping costs down.

Q. How do I know what’s happening with my account?

A. IT By Design has a robust Ticketing System and searchable Customer Portal that allow the tracking of all tickets, from receipt to resolution. Using a 'closed loop' process, ITBD engineers fastidiously document every ticket for transparency. Current clients can use our secure Web portal to create and track tickets, access reports, update account information, and communicate and collaborate with ITBD staff.
