IT By Design provides fully managed cloud solutions including hosting, co-location, disaster recovery/business continuity planning and storage, and online backup at our two Data Centers in Commack, NY and Arizona. With coast to coast redundancy, our Cloud Solutions are tailored to fit every company’s individual business needs, providing highly available and elastic solutions.
Most companies move their business critical applications to the cloud in order to provide their organization with easy access and high availability of mission critical servers and applications. IT By Design’s Data Center facilities strive to provide ‘five nines’ system availability. This means uptimes of 99.999% (downtime less than 5.26 minutes per year). This level of availability is the gold standard in IT, and ITBD assures its Data Center clients this optimal degree of operational performance. In order to achieve this, both Data Centers are fully redundant and allow for automatic, synchronous failover in the unlikely event that a system fails. As soon as one system goes down, the next system takes over immediately, ensuring continuous business operations for our clients.
ITBD’s engineers measure and track the performance of our Data Center hosting systems 24x7x365. Using our VTD (Virtual Tech Desk) software, our NOC team monitors the systems remotely. ITBD engineers are also located onsite at the Data Centers to further observe the equipment for availability. Both sets of engineers are continuously supervising the systems and carefully monitoring the performance of the machines. This includes 24×7 monitoring, maintenance and support of essential infrastructure components, application services, and digital information assets at the Data Center.
