IT By Design (ITBD) is excited to welcome Gennifer Biggs as the newest member of their marketing and community team. Biggs joins the marketing team as Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy, responsible for shaping the Master MSP’s content, media and social strategy. Working closely with ITBD leadership, she will be dedicated to supporting ITBD’s channel engagement and business growth, helping drive expansion of the company’s outsourced IT business and amplifying its role as the channel’s talent authority.
“Genn has such deep roots in the MSP community; she understands both the challenges we solve for our customers and the integral role that community plays in our business,” said Sunny Kaila, CEO, ITBD. “The value she brings to our team starts with her experience as a marketing and communications strategist, but what we’re really excited about is having someone so passionate about the MSP community joining our company.”
Biggs’ background in marketing and communications stretches back more than 20 years, with experience ranging from journalism to corporate messaging. Prior to joining IT By Design, she served as the U.S. marketing communications lead for Ingram Micro, responsible for strategic messaging and communications. Part of the channel community since 2008, Biggs has provided marketing communications consulting tailored for the IT industry through her own firm, Generate Communications. She also served as director of channel communications for WhiteFox Marketing. Biggs’ previous experience also includes serving as the MSP, storage and security editor for Business Solutions magazine, and nearly a decade spent as a newspaper reporter in Chicago.
“I’m thrilled by this opportunity to join the ITBD family and help accelerate our efforts to lead the channel as a Master MSP providing Staffing and NOC/SOC/Helpdesk solutions to the channel,” said Biggs. “I am looking forward to helping our company tell their story in order to share our value to MSPs and customers more widely, and continuing our efforts as a committed go-giver within the close-knit MSP community.”Back To Press
